The Mother’s Union in Tobago and Trinidad, in the Church in the Province of the West Indies have a project of tree growing for food production and to alleviate poverty. Speaking to Dr. Elizabeth Perry of Communion Forest, Ms. Valerie West, the President of the Mother’s Union said that the project was launched on International Justice Day. The tree species they planted is the Breadfruit tree and the seedlings distributed to church members to plant the trees in other areas.
